How to Choose Magnifying Glasses

内容目录

The magnifying glasses have always been a product that many of our customers inquire about. We have also collected some feedback from dentists.

Considering that magnifying glasses are customized products, they are better tailored to each individual’s needs rather than being adjustable for everyone. Customized ones are made based on each person’s interpupillary distance, vision, etc., and therefore are only suitable for one person. Whether they are suitable and comfortable can only be determined by the user themselves. We interviewed several dentists with many years of experience using magnifying glasses. Each of them uses different brands and shared their experiences with us to provide a reference for everyone.

Summary of the guests’ feedback:

*If the budget allows, go for fully customized ones. Because they are expensive, most people will only have one brand. If they choose a brand, they are likely to continue with the same brand for future upgrades (such as higher magnification or switching from straight to angled). Therefore, choosing your first magnifying glass is very important.

*Angled ones are more neck-friendly.

*Using magnifying glasses, besides relieving neck strain, also eases the back and allows you to see more details that were previously unnoticed, leading to more precise operations.

*New dentists are not recommended to choose too high magnification as they might not be accustomed to it, although over time they are likely to want higher magnification glasses.

*Regarding feedback from some dentists about dizziness while wearing them, it might be because the chosen magnifying glasses are not suitable.

*Therefore, good magnifying glasses are honestly not cheap. If conditions allow, we recommend that everyone use magnifying glasses.
